Still doing good!

I do the exercises every morning. I’m able to walk a mile without a problem and climb a flight of stairs. Sometimes I over do it and feel it the next day but recover in a day. The only exercise I have a problem with in the November 008 issue is the Courtsey Squat.

Making Progress

By way of introduction, I am 77 and I have had osteo arthritis in my knees for more than 12 years and severe arthritis for at least five. I am a very consistent exerciser and have been for many years. As my arthritis has gotten worse, I have been to physical therapy, and had cortisone and other injections. Last year I had decided to try surgery. However, the pandemic intervened and by the time I had jumped through all the hoops, no elective surgeries were being done here. I took that as a sign to keep trying to avoid surgery. I bought your 6 week knee program in June 2021, and in July subscribed to your monthly program. So far I am very impressed, enthusiastic, and hopeful. The exercises are well-described and easy to follow and I enjoy doing them. Although I am not yet pain free, I am definitely able to move better and sleep better. I believe I will continue to improve.
